We have listened to our customers' requests! The latest update of the MConnect Connector makes it even easier to automatically process Mollie transactions in Exact Online. Discover how this smart and efficient update saves you time and simplifies your accounting!

In the first version of the connector, transactions, refunds, and chargebacks were registered as to-do items in MConnect. Users had to manually process outstanding items, which sometimes led to discrepancies between Mollie bookings and the records in Exact Online. As a result, we have developed a new update that addresses this issue.

In this new update of the MConnect Connector, all payments, refunds, and chargebacks are automatically recorded in Exact Online, even if they cannot be immediately linked to an invoice. They are booked on a pre-set 'deferred' general ledger account. MConnect ensures that daily checks are performed on transactions that are not yet linked to find a match. MConnect attempts to re-link all outstanding payments and refunds to open bookings daily. Additionally, all bookings are logged with a ‘code’ indicating the type of booking. This way, your records remain up-to-date!

Stripe is one of many payment service platforms. Stripe works with dozens of different payment methods, including iDEAL, and over 135 currencies. You can therefore also easily and successfully trade abroad with payment methods that your customers are used to there. But you would like to invoice via Exact Online.

Then use Stripe Connector! Your customers can choose to pay with any payment method, not just a credit card. In addition, you do not first have to send them all kinds of documents to obtain a mandate for direct debit or payment.

Processing Mollie transactions correctly is very cumbersome. You may recognize the following points:

1. Mollie bank transactions are not automatically matched by Exact Online. Because the bank transaction is not coming from the customer. In addition, you often receive a payment batch of several Mollie transactions and the invoice amount and the payment do not match. In practice, this means that employees have to log in to the Mollie account and then reconcile the paid invoices one by one.
